My name is Morgan Brown

I am a journalism student at the University of Alaska Anchorage. I was born and raised in Alaska and I consider myself lucky to still call this beautiful state home. I work as the lead lifeguard for one of the pools within the Anchorage Municipality.

I find this topic most interesting because religion has always been a controversial subject for many people. I have heard a collection of opinions on churches and how they are run behind the veil of Sunday services. Heart of the City seems to have found its own way of reaching young people and securing "new" Christians. I am intrigued to learn more about the creation of the church and hear from members who support it wholeheartedly.
